Can you please pass me my monocle? My right eye is all kind of fuzzy. It's just not as good as my left one. So I am left wondering-why did the monacle go out of style? Why waste the money on the whole extra half of the glasses? I am bringing the monocle back.
Boston is hot today. 50 degrees plus. I've been biking around and then I went to the pool where I did a "swim down."
500, 400, 300, 200, 100 for at least 1500 yards. Despite my monocle I can't count well (does everyone get the Sesame Street reference?) so I just did extra laps when I forgot what number I was on. It took 36:47 including breaks.
And I was wrong-the stair climb didn't die yet. There is more...Here is a team pic. I was actually the second oldest of the bunch which is why they all look so young. The girl sitting next to me is the elevator/bathroom/last year's winner I wrote about. The guy all the way on the left is my friend. And they have some fake results-end times but no start times. They're meaningless, but I am on it twice b/c of the two climbs so that is somewhat interesting. And here is the view from the top of the climb-and my huge arms...see!! My left arm is as big as the guy's arm next to me. That is so wrong.
Damn, they all look young...

Three words, 100 count lap watch...for the pool. That way you don't lose count. Very entertaining by the way...as always. BTW, what is a niggle??

PS - the only wrong thing is that his arms are too small...you should lend him your workout routine ;-).
