My mom wants my Dad and I to apply to those tv shows that do makeovers as a father/daughter team. We're both walking around the house (very stylishly I might add) in shorts and race t-shirts. Today I'm sporting the Muddy Buddy shirt for the first time and my Dad is wearing a 5K shirt. I guess she's sick of them-but who would get sick of looking at these??
I ran this morning for 40 minutes at 8 AM. My Dad ran 3 miles at 7 AM before I was up. My brother and his gf might go running later. We tend to go in waves. The ankle felt fine while I was running but it's a little sore now. I can walk and run straight and move my foot up and down, but if I try and move my ankle from side to side it hurts. I'm not hugely surprised it's a little tender since it IS sprained. I think I'm okay running-but I am nervous and went very carefully b/c if I twist it again right now I know it's going to be bad news. I don't think I have to stop running though b/c if I am being honest with myself I am a klutz. I could just as easily twist it the wrong way walking around the house.
I ended the run at the beach and iced my legs in the water. It felt AWESOME. I wish I could finish every run like that. Modern transportation is amazing. It's hard to believe I was up north 24 hours ago, ya know?
Sore ankle? Ha! Sounds like someone's just duckin' the competition at the next 5K!

I wear my race shirts and scrub bottoms to work at the hospital. I draw blood, and my patients love the shirts... seems to be an ice breaker... I like cold water at the end of a run, too!
Hope your ankle feels better soon.

One can never have too many race shirts. I only buy t-shirts now if I'm on vacation or see a REALLY cool one.
You know, a beach sounds good right now. Preferrably with some alcohol.

Is there any other type of t-shirt for bopping around in? Now actually running, no race shirts, no sireee! Tech shirts rule for runs! Run Good!
