Turning 30 wasn't enough to shame me into getting off of my parents' EZ Pass account. It took until tonight (I am 30 and 2/3 years old) when I was driving for work and using my parents' EZ Pass to pay tolls and I realized I would need to reimburse my parents. I also knew this wasn't going to be a one-time thing and this needs to be the end of my cushy EZ Pass life. So sad. (Or awesome b/c I finally don't need my parents to pay for my tolls?) I called them to let them know the news and instead of being sad I no longer need them they said: GREAT! Please inform your siblings that 30 is now the official family EZ Pass cut-off age!
What crazy thing do you still financially rely on your parents for?
This morning's 6 mile run was in 47 degree rain. Ahh, a touch of New England down south!
ALSO, people are either lying, delusional, or not familiar enough w/ swimming to make educated estimates. I checked out the seed times for the triathlon I entered and people are apparently swimming magical times. In 2010 not one person swam the times (by a longshot) many people seeded themselves at for this year. Other people are either trying to start last or entered their times in the wrong hours/minutes/seconds boxes. 30+ minutes for 300 m?
I tell you - many people seriously don't know how fast they swim. Especially with these pool tris - they are nice safe beginner races, so lots of newbies are out.

that is exactly why i am not doing sudbury sprint anymore - or any pool swim races anymore... it's a complete shitshow. last year i had to walk the swim bc of slow people seeding themselves faster.
and... im still under my parents car insurance.
