I'm totally starting too fast at my 5k tomorrow! Yay for Runner's World! Actually, I have always thought that pacing yourself for a 5k is silly. I think you should be pushing yourself hard the whole way.

PS I found out they are starting swimmers every 30 seconds, so I have a bit of a window around my estimated swim time.

Did ya see that? It said it fit masters runners. Good news!

Oddly enough, I found that I always did better starting out too fast, even though I tried not to. Maybe I should stop trying so hard.
